Benjamin Brockbank-Naylor is a sound recordist and filmmaker based in Plymouth, UK. Benjamin has worked on many projects in the local area including, WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE WORK - a major visual arts project in Plymouth - commercial documentaries about local craftsman for Bosch power tools, and Crowdfunder campaign videos for local charities, raising over £10,000.

Greenhouse

An ongoing photo series

This is a short self-portrait film looking at what creative endeavours mean to me. The inspiration for this project was the failure to complete my Final Major Project while at college.

Exploring the acoustic environment of Plymouth city center using a battery powered amplifier and an electric-acoustic guitar.

The majority of the footage used in this essay was shot by my grandfather R. A. Naylor, between 1955 and 1965. I digitised and restored the footage in this video using a Canon 700D and home-made macro tubes.
